THANKS for your updated travel-log and appreciate you including me on your distribution.
Yes, I’ve had an opportunity to visit the mega gas station you referenced - almost an attraction unto itself. If you can’t find it there, you don’t need it.
Enjoy your travels and assume you will be fishing along the way.
Just a guy. A guy that likes to fish (offshore, inshore, near shore, flats), shoot photographs, cook with grills/griddles/smokers, upgrade and modify boats/cars/rv's, go clamping with my girl, hang out with family/friends, decorate like Martha (Stewart) and write about life experiences. I have about 35-40 years of stuff I want to do, places I want to visit, people I want to meet. Hopefully I won't run out of time or money:-)
Very gracious of you to share this trip with us. It has been abut 15+ years since we were on Jekyll Island but apparently But-ees didn't exist then. Looks like great fun. Stay safe.
We live just north of Daytona Beach and when they announced there was going to be a gas station with 104 pumps everyone said it would never work. Now morning, noon and night it is busy and sometimes you have to circle several time to get a pump. Always the cheapest and a good place to puck up lunch or dinner. But if you watching your weight stay away from the Beaver Nuggets. BTW is your LTV on 80 square feet ?
Congratulations on your launch day! We loved biking Jeckyl Island, if you get a chance to visit Cumberland Island via Gerry, it's worth the trip. The park service rents beach cruiser bikes to get around the island. Look forward to following along.
Hey Lisa! Great to hear from you, having never done anything like this before, I hope I can combine the necessary elements to engage subscribers like yourself and having them check out my version of Where's Waldo on a daily basis. Say hello to Chris and give the twins a squeeze for me :-)
Thanks, I forgot to add a few of the photos I shot yesterday, check them out. Off to circumnavigate the island on my bike today, hope to get some great pictures.
I haven't had a chance to go to Buc-ees but want too! If you ever get a chance, Hunting Island State Park is a beautiful location on the SC coast in the Low County of Beaufort, SC. I love to look for sharks teeth on its quiet white sands beach. So where is your next stop? It is hard to tell from your trip map, but if you end your journal with your next destination maybe your readers could give you pointers of things to see and do along the way!

While you are on Jekyll Island make sure to check out Driftwood Beach. It’s very close to your campground.
Yup. it is on the list!
We spend a good amount of time in Sea Island, Georgia - a great stop if it’s on your way. Love the Spanish moss.
I will check it out.
